Oliver Meyer-van Raay advises companies of all sizes in the area of IT and data protection law, both on the provider side and on the client side. His clients include IT and industrial companies, biotechnology providers, and financial service providers. Oliver Meyer-van Raay advises on the negotiation of complex contracts, also in an international environment. His activities include advising on IT projects, whether classic or agile, as well as in the context of plant engineering and other technology projects, as well as supporting his clients in the implementation of their digitalization strategies.

Profil

After studying and completing his legal clerkship in Münster (Westphalia), Oliver Meyer-van Raay worked as a research assistant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Institute for Information Law, where he wrote his dissertation on the protection and distribution of software. After several years as an attorney at a major Stuttgart law firm and a subsequent stint at Bartsch und Partner in Karlsruhe, he was one of the founding partners of Vogel & Partner in 2011.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Oliver Meyer-van Raay acts as an external company data protection officer for several companies.
